2.Report of Findings
Having taken your case history and examined you, your Chiropractor will explain in detail your diagnosis and recommend a personalized treatment plan. After your practitioner has explained your condition in detail, your treatment can start at this appointment.
3.Treatment
Chiropractors use their hands to adjust the joints of your spine and limbs where restrictions to movement are found, improving mobility and relieving pain. Treatment aims at improving joint and muscle function.
Adjusting joints restores movement whilst massage and stretching of tight muscles allows for comfortable return to normal activities. Whether you are suffering with back pain, neck pain, headaches, a trapped nerve or a sports injury, you can find more details about treatment of your particular condition in the links on the home page.
4.Home instructions
Before leaving, you'll be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be carried out at home. This is so you can help yourself maintain the improvements to your mobility in between treatments.
This may include ice or heat applications, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises. Many patients comment that this is the same as the physiotherapy that they have received on the NHS. Here at Taunton Chiropractors Centre, exercise and advice runs in parallel to the hands-on care that you receive and will be modified as your condition improves
